Cathy is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator based in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area serving clients nationwide. She is also a Career Coach at American Public University System, conference speaker, workshop facilitator, and an active blogger with works featured on blogs such as OnlineCareerTips.com and CareersinGovernment.com. She is a member of the Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association, graduate of the University of Florida where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and has a Master’s in Business Administration from Kaplan University.

Cathy and I met at the Blogging While Brown Conference in July and hit it off instantly. We share a common interest with leveraging LinkedIn for professional use. I like her acronym for CEO, Career Exploration Officer,as she helps professionals  explore their career options and bridge the gap between their transitions. We discuss the importance of conferences, LinkedIn, and collaborations to advance one’s career.
