Digital radio, podcasts, and social, voice-based Clubhouse have opened the doors for listening. We may THINK visual is more powerful, but there is another kind of authenticity in audio. Stripped down to voice, there’s something that levels the playing field and builds trust with audiences like no other medium.
More than that though, audio opens up access to minds that are normally paywalled. Instead of expensive conferences and fancy country clubs, audiences can seek out topics and big names and listen in, direct. Ordinary people, marginalized groups, and even those with reading disabilities all currently have equal access to audio platforms like podcasts and Clubhouse.

I am a proud android user and haven’t had the Clubhouse experience. However, I have been considering planning a podcast guest run to promote a few projects. Hosting my podcast for four years and being a guest on over 100 shows has always been the best form of audio marketing for me. It has led to book sales, consultations, speaking gigs, and more interviews. It really does solidify your expertise to a new audience from all over the world. I know Clubhouse makes it easier, but I strongly recommend some form of podcasting. The content is evergreen and lasts longer than 24 hours.
What about yourself?
- Are you utilizing audio marketing in your business?
- Have you tried podcasting?
- Are you addicted to Clubhouse or over it?
- If so, how has it benefitted you and your business?
Everyone’s experience is different and I enjoy learning from others. Let me know what works for you or we can discuss on your podcast.
