Culturally Naija and WeLead present the 2nd Annual Nigeria Cultural Day Parade in honor of Nigerian Independence in Downtown Houston. Houston is home to the largest Nigerian American community outside of Nigeria.
Celebrating Nigeria’s 58th Independence will serve to promote and advance the cultural, civic and social welfare of Nigerians. Attendees will witness a rich cultural experience through a street-wide celebration.By joining the parade, we can accomplish to promote the richness of Nigeria together.
Culturally Naija was founded in 2016 by a group of Nigerian Americans to address the needs of the Nigerian community. This organization is committed to the broader issues facing the Nigerian community in the United States and embrace Nigerians from all walks of life, regardless of their ethnic and religious backgrounds. Culturally Naija is dedicated to positively enhance the image of Nigerians in the U.S. and address the negative stereotypes of Nigerians in the American media.
